Black, orange and green handblock printed flower buttis tussar saree with French knots and sequins on buttis.

The saree features handblock print flower buttis, which are decorative motifs that resemble flowers, scattered across the fabric. These buttis are created using a traditional handblock printing technique, where a wooden block with the desired design is dipped in ink or dye and then stamped onto the fabric.

In addition to the flower buttis, the saree also has French knots and sequins embellishments on the buttis. French knots are a type of embroidery stitch that creates a small, raised knot on the fabric, while sequins are small, shiny discs that are sewn onto the fabric to add sparkle and shine.

Overall, this black and orange tussar saree with handblock print flower buttis and French knots and sequins on the buttis is a beautiful and intricate piece of clothing that combines traditional techniques with modern embellishments to create a unique and eye-catching design.

Blouse: Black tussar silk

It can be paired with any silver jewelry and ready to wear blouse to add more shine and colour and the same can be purchased from the  ” Accessories ” and ” Ready to wear”  section respectively.

Note : The tailored blouse featured is only for reference.

Care Instructions

Cotton & Kota Doria are natural fabrics and are some of the most comfortable fabrics for summer. At aavaranaa, we take care to source only handloom fabrics. Read how to take care of them.

# Cottons and cotton kotas are easy to maintain and can even be machine washed on gentle cycle. However, if your cotton has been enhanced with natural dye prints, embroidery or kalamkari, kindly avoid machine washing them. Washing them in machine with harsh chemicals may result in them fading quickly.

# Since a majority of our fabrics use natural dyes, we recommend testing if they bleed and washing them separately for the first few washes. If they bleed colour, we recommend soaking them in salt water and washing with gentle detergents or shampoo or dry cleaning them

# If your fabric has undergone a couple of drycleans, you can start washing them at home (not kalamkari).

# Avoid tumble dry and always line dry under shade to ensure a long life for your fabrics
