Hand-painted birds, flowers and leaves in earthy green and rust are artfully placed across the checked mustard body of this saree. Beautifully framed by a zari border in deep red that carries through to the pallu, accented with zari stripes. Comes attached with plain blouse fabric in maroon.

Each Kanchipuram silk saree in our Kalpataru range is hand-painted by master artists in Kalahasti who have carried forward this tradition over generations. The sarees are painted using natural pigments derived from tree bark, fruit peels and flowers, washed in running river water and bleached by the sun. Every saree is moulded by the colours, water and sunlight of the region, and each line, stroke and variation is a testament to the artist’s skill and labour.
Note: Since the traditional Kalamkari process involves multiple rounds of preparation and washing, the attached blouse piece on this saree is slightly smaller than our standard allowance due to shrinkage. If you require more fabric or would like to tailor a custom blouse, please reach out to our team

We work exclusively with handloom fabrics and hand-crafted techniques like embroidery, appliqué and patchwork. Minor variations are marks of the artisan’s hand and not imperfections.
- If you are unhappy with your order, please send a detailed email to hello@aavaranaa.com within 48 hours of receiving the product. We will do our best to address your concerns.
- In the case of an exchange, we offer free pick-ups from most locations in India. International customers will have to bear any additional shipping fees.
- We offer refunds only in the rare instance that there is a mistake (incorrect product, damaged merchandise) from our end. You will receive a credit note against your order in all other instances.
- The credit note can be used on any products on our website and will be valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
- All items purchased on discount over 15% count as final sale.
